Tamron 50-400mm FE lens preorder will open on August 25
Within 24h Tamron will open the preorders for the new 50-400mm FE lens (listed here at BHphoto) . The lens will start shipping out in September for a price of 195,800 yen including tax (that’s around $1,400).

Sony Japan announces price increases from September 1st
On September 1st Sony Japan will increase the price on many cameras and lenses. I don’t know if the price increase will happen in other regions too. Sony says:
Due to the impact of the recent external environment, the cost of raw materials, manufacturing, and distribution has soared, so we will revise the shipping price as follows.
At the same time, we will revise the suggested retail price for products that have set the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
