Great news folks! Sony did just register a new camera in China. it has the code “WW847606” and this is what we learn from info shared by Sony:

• The camera has the same Wifi 6 tech of the Sony A7V
• It’s made in Japan where only high end cameras like the Sony A1II , Sony A9III , Sony A7sIII and Sony FX3 are made.
• It will be announced in March/April

Tamron has published its full 2025 financial report . Sales and forecasts are down, but Tamron still plans to launch 10 lenses in 2026. However, it is important to note that this number includes several versions of the same lens with different mounts. So the number of truly “new” lenses could be 3 or 4.
