Suspect sought in separate Scarborough chain snatchings
Toronto police believe the same suspect is responsible for two separate chain snatchings in Scarborough last month.
The first incident took place on Friday, May 29, at around 4:28 p.m.
Investigators say a female was walking towards a bus stop in the Middlefield Road and McNicoll Avenue area when she felt someone tugging at her gold necklace from behind.
She started to run away, but the suspect chased her and eventually pulled the chain off her neck.
The suspect then fled in a grey pickup truck.

Sunwing, WestJet suspend flights/operations to Cuba indefinitely
WestJet airlines and Sunwing Vacations Group have announced they will be suspending all Cuba operations and flights indefinitely until further notice.
The airline and vacation group, which includes Sunwing Vacations, WestJet Vacations and WestJet Vacations Québec, originally suspended service to the Caribbean country faced a worsening energy crisis amid a U.S. blockade of oil back in February.
In an update in April, Sunwing extended the pause until October, with services set to resume on Oct. 10.

Liberal MP Nate Erskine-Smith has sent an email to supporters confirming he will resign his seat in the House of Commons and inviting volunteers to an event to celebrate his decade of public service.

3rd suspect arrested in connection to Vaughan double homicide
