OTTAWA — Ottawa is looking at overhauling the express entry system to make it easier for people with high-paying job offers to apply for permanent residency.
A public consultation survey and discussion paper outline the proposed changes to the express entry system.

GO train delays at Union Station due to signal issue
GO Transit train riders heading into Union Station on Wednesday morning could face minor delays due to a signal issue east of the transit hub.
“We are currently investigating a signal issue on the Lakeshore East line that could impact travel times in and out of Union Station,” GO states on its website.

Driver in critical condition after single‑vehicle crash in Brampton
A driver has been rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition after a serious single‑vehicle, overnight collision in Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.
