Life-threatening injuries for man pinned between vehicle, building

A man in his 50s has life-threatening injuries after he was pinned between a vehicle and a building in the Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East area on Monday evening.

Police say it happened at around 7:14 p.m. when a 59-year-old man got out of his car in a narrow laneway before the car was set in motion and pinned him against a wall.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

SYDNEY (AP) — A woman suffered serious leg injuries after being attacked Monday by a suspected bull shark in Sydney Harbor, local authorities said.

The victim, a woman reported to be in her late 20s, was bitten on the right leg as she swam at Elizabeth Bay in Sydney’s east at about 8pm on Monday.
