Federal officials recommend that airlines inspect door plugs on some older Boeing jets as well

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration recommends that airlines inspect the door plugs on certain Boeing 737s that are older than the Max 9 jetliner that suffered a blowout of a similar panel during a flight this month.

The FAA said door plugs on one older version of the 737, called the 737-900ER, are identical in design to those on the Max 9, and some airlines “have noted findings with bolts during the maintenance inspections.”

Ford says move of 11 ServiceOntario locations to Staples, Walmart kiosk due to ‘convenience’

U.S. targets Iraqi airline, its CEO and Hamas cryptocurrency financiers for sanctions

$3.2 million in stolen vehicles recovered across GTA and southwestern Ontario

Investigators with York police’s Auto Cargo Theft Unit, along with the Canada Border Services Agency and Équité Association, have recovered 52 stolen vehicles from parts of the GTA and southwestern Ontario with a value of more than $3.2 million.

Between October 2023 and January 2024, an investigation dubbed “Project Mamba” revealed a group of criminals who were using residential areas to store vehicles that had recently been stolen. 11 people have been charged with 96 criminal offences
