3 suspects sought in two knife-point robberies in Mississauga
Police are searching for three suspects in connection with a pair of knife-point robberies in Mississauga.
Peel police say on January 18 between 6 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., two separate robberies occurred within proximity to each other. In each incident, women were walking on a pathway near South Common Library in the area of Erin Mills Parkway and The Collegeway when they were approached by two males who robbed them of their personal belongings at knife-point.

An 18-year-old Brampton man is in custody and an arrest warrant has been issued for another teen in connection with the shooting death of a man last December.
Peel police say 18-year-old Nishan Thind of Brampton was admitted to a local hospital just before 6 p.m. on December 19, 2023, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead.

No charges for 4 Baltimore officers who fatally shot an armed man after he fired at them
BALTIMORE (AP) — Four Baltimore police officers who fired at an armed man during a foot pursuit in November won’t face criminal charges, state prosecutors said Friday.
Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown said in a news release that the officers returned fire after Hunter Jessup, 27, fired seven shots in their direction while fleeing. Jessup was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
