WASHINGTON (AP) — Oil and natural gas companies for the first time would have to pay a fee for methane emissions that exceed certain levels under a rule proposed Friday by the Biden administration.

Gen. Wayne Eyre plans to retire as Canada’s defence chief this summer
Gen. Wayne Eyre is planning to retire as Canada’s chief of the defence staff this summer, he said in a statement to military members Friday.
