One man is in custody, and police are searching for two other suspects in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton last month.
Police in Peel Region were called to the Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive area just after 7 p.m. on June 4 for reports of a shooting. A man was found suffering from gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old Jamal Edwards of Brampton.

A 37-year-old man is facing a murder charge after a woman was shot and killed outside a home in Rexdale early Friday morning.
Toronto police say a man and a woman were having a brief interaction just before 7:30 a.m. on Arborwood Drive in the Humberwood Boulevard and Rexdale Boulevard area when shots rang out.
Investigators say life-saving measures were performed, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

5 injured, 3 arrested in early morning two-vehicle crash in Etobicoke
Three people are in custody following an early morning crash in Etobicoke.
Toronto police said the two-vehicle crash occurred on Carlingview Drive and Disco Road, west of Highway 27, just after midnight.
Five people were taken to the hospital – three with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while two others suffered minor injuries.
Investigators say three people in one of the vehicles have been arrested but did not provide any further details as to what charges they may be facing.
