A Toronto police officer is in hospital following an early‑morning incident in the Bloor Street East and Parliament Street area.
EMS confirmed only that Toronto paramedics were dispatched to the intersection near Sherbourne Street at 3:50 a.m., declining to comment further and directing all inquiries to police. A paramedic at St. Michael’s Hospital told CityNews the officer is expected to survive.
