AirTags are now given free by Colorado police to prevent stolen vehicles

Apple’s has long been a great option for tracking your vehicle’s location, and now one Colorado police department has caught on and started giving them away free to help deter auto theft.

CBS Colorado on its YouTube channel yesterday about the recent Arvada, Colorado AirTag distribution ( ).

The report says that police are trying to decrease the number of auto thefts by distributing free AirTags and to members of the community. The first such giveaway just took place, and another is planned.

Apple faces criminal complaints over Congo conflict minerals; Belgium now investigating [U]
