Read Tim Cook’s ‘Apple at 50’ memo: ‘What excites me most is what comes next’

Apple CEO Tim Cook has shared a memo with the company to mark its 50th anniversary. Naturally, Mark Gurman is the company-wide communication outside of Apple.

In the letter, Cook says Apple’s “opportunities ahead of us are among the greatest we have ever seen.”

That level of optimism isn’t surprising to see from the CEO of Apple.

Still, it’s a tall order for the company in the context of what Apple has delivered in the first 50 years.

As part of Apple’s 50th anniversary celebrations , Apple CEO Tim Cook sat down with for an in-depth conversation. In the interview, Cook discussed his memory of Steve Jobs, remarking that Apple is “definitely still his company.”
