Did Covid-19 spread during the Consumer Electronics Show?

Bottom line: For its part, CES organizers told APM Reports that they aren’t aware of any confirmed cases of Covid-19 from the conference. A single antibody test result isn’t enough to conclude that Covid-19 was indeed present at CES. It is plausible that the person in question contracted the virus afterwards but didn’t show any symptoms. AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson announces retirement

In brief: AT&T on Friday announced that longtime CEO Randall Stephenson is retiring this summer. Stephenson joined AT&T as chief operating officer in 2005 through an acquisition of Southwestern Bell. Two years later, he took over as CEO for the outgoing Edward Whitacre and has held the position ever since.

During his tenure, Stephenson oversaw AT&T’s $48.5 billion acquisition of DirecTV as well as its mega merger with Time Warner.

Another text string that can crash Apple devices is making the rounds

PSA: Apple devices are facing another test-based bug similar to chaiOS and others. A specific string of characters received in a notification from Messages, Mail, and various other apps can cause iPhones, iPads, Macs, or Apple watches to lock up.

The characters causing the problem consists of the italian flag emoji and characters from the Sindhi language. MacRumors notes that bug seems to only occur through notifications containing the string. So just getting a text message with it has no effect, but a notification popup will crash
