Department of Defense publicly releases 'unidentified aerial phenomena' videos

In brief: The DoD said the videos have been circulating in the public domain for years. The Navy previously confirmed the videos were indeed authentic Navy footage and after a thorough review, the DoD determined the authorized release of the videos “does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

The US Department of Defense this week officially released video footage of “aerial phenomena” that first went mainstream in December 2017 courtesy

In brief: Google held a Stadia Connect livestream today and revealed a plethora of new games coming to Stadia. This includes excellent titles such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Octopath Traveler. This will hopefully give more reason to try out the service at a time when most are stuck at home.

PUBG will available for free with a Stadia Pro subscription, while Stadia Free members will have to shell out $30 for the base game to play. Fortunately, PUBG includes cross-play support so you'll

Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T will continue to waive late fees, suspend data caps for two more months

In brief: Over 700 companies have agreed to voluntary commitments not to terminate service for subscribers for 60 days, starting mid-March. Facebook will host a star-studded virtual graduation ceremony on May 15

Editor's take: With everything going on in the world right now, some might see the cancellation of graduation ceremonies as petty. But for the students and proud families affected, it’s flat out unfair. To not be afforded the same opportunity to celebrate that you or I were given is unfortunate no matter how you slice it.

Graduating high school is a once in a lifetime event, the culmination of years of hard work to prepare for college or to enter the workforce. But for millions of students that

Users can now turn off Valorant's anti-cheat software

A hot potato: Nobody likes cheaters in online multiplayer games. Some cheating programs operate in Ring 0 to avoid detection because most mitigation methods operate in Rings 2 or 3. Valorant's Vanguard software uses Ring 0 drivers to detect these programs. While it is not the only one to do this, Vanguard has recently become a hot topic in the community because of it.

Earlier this month, Riot Games came under fire over its "Vanguard" anti-cheat software. The problem was that the program uses a kernel

Microsoft tweaks Windows 10 indexing system with May 2020 update

Recap: Years ago, it wasn’t uncommon for Windows tweak guides to suggest disabling indexing altogether to boost system performance. This slowed down searches but kept the OS from unnecessarily spinning up the hard drive at the most inopportune time and was thus deemed a worthy trade-off for many.

Microsoft’s upcoming May 2020 Update for Windows 10 will reportedly include a tweaked indexing system that could boost overall system performance with certain configurations.

Indexing in Windows involves the operating system examining the files on your computer

Origin goes ludicrous, crams gaming PC inside a mini Tesla Model S

WTF?! It's hard to pinpoint who the Ludicrous PC is exactly built for: you, your child, or your inner child. But then, a drivable toy car with a gaming PC under the hood is likely going to appeal to all three at once.
