Users can now post iOS Live Photos as animated GIFs on Twitter

What just happened? If you own an iPhone, you have probably been frustrated at one time or another that you cannot share your Live Photos with others unless they have an iPhone as well. Twitter is changing that today with a new feature that allows you to post your Live Photos as GIFs.

There are apps that can convert Apple’s special Live Photo image format into an animated GIF, but Twitter announced Wednesday that it is making it easy by doing the conversion natively. It really could not be more simple.

Sling TV's Cloud DVR can finally record ESPN channels

What just happened? Sling TV, the over-the-top Internet television service from Dish Network, is now more flexible than ever. The provider this week has enabled its Cloud DVR service on ESPN channels, allowing viewers to record the action on these Disney-owned channels for the first time.

Guy makes Lego machine that sorts other Lego using AI

Why it matters: For unleashing creativity across all ages, it's hard to beat Lego, the latest proof of which is given by Daniel West, creator of the Universal LEGO Sorting Machine.
