A Singaporean man has been arrested in Bali after a woman was found dead in a rental unit, Indonesian police said on Thursday.

The suspect, identified only by the initials MZ, was arrested in less than three hours by a joint police team, according to a post on the Denpasar police’s official social media account.

A Hong Kong taxi driver has died after his vehicle crashed into a railing in Tsuen Wan.

According to police, the accident happened at 11.45pm on Thursday on Ma Tau Pa Road, when the cabby reportedly lost control of his vehicle and drove into a railing while travelling towards Tsuen Wan Riviera Park.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the driver unconscious, with no apparent external injuries.

Hong Kong issues amber rainstorm warning, tells public to brace for possible floods

The Hong Kong Observatory has issued the amber rainstorm warning and urged residents to brace for widespread heavy rain and potential flooding under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure.

The signal, sent out at 9.50am, was the second amber rainstorm warning to be issued on Friday. An earlier alert went out just after midnight and was cancelled at 2.15am.
