Tianma shows 14-inch 2.8K In-cell Touch panel for Intel Razor Lake

Tianma Microelectronics attended Intel’s Client Ecosystem Symposium and Edge Solution Summit 2026 in Shanghai, where it showed two laptop display panels aimed at future AI PC designs.

Tianma focused on In-cell Touch, wide-range variable refresh rate support and lower power operation for high-end IT displays. The company also linked one of its panels to Intel’s next-generation Razor Lake platform.

Steam Controller gets HID Remapper support with trackpad and gyro inputs

Valve’s new Steam Controller has gained support in HID Remapper, an open-source hardware adapter used to remap USB input devices.

Developer Jacek Fedoryński confirmed that HID Remapper now works with the Steam Controller. According to his post, all controller inputs are usable, including the trackpads, touch sensors and accelerometer/gyro. The project can be used to run the controller on other devices, including Nintendo Switch, depending on the selected output configuration.

Microsoft is adding a new option to Office apps that will let users move the floating Copilot button back to the ribbon.

The button, officially called the Dynamic Action Button (why does it even need a name?), recently appeared in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It floats near the lower-right corner of the document area, which has caused problems for some users. Excel users appear to be affected the most because the button can cover spreadsheet cells.
