Micron 24Gb GDDR7 appears in public catalog

We have just noticed that Micron has added 24Gb GDDR7 memory to its public graphics memory catalog, putting the company alongside Samsung and SK hynix in the 3GB-per-chip segment. The catalog shows one 24Gb part labeled as Production at 28 GT/s, and another labeled as Sampling at 32 GT/s.

Worth adding that Micron has also recently said its 24Gb GDDR7 can reach up to 36 Gb

Samsung has reportedly stopped accepting new orders for LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X mobile DRAM. Korean outlet The Elec says the company has already taken its final orders and will only fulfill volumes that were booked earlier. Samsung’s own Semiconductor pages for LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X now show both products as discontinued.
