NVIDIA N1 engineering board leak shows 128 GB LPDDR5X memory with SK hynix chips

NVIDIA entry into the laptop market seemingly confirmed.

An engineering motherboard said to carry NVIDIA’s upcoming N1 laptop SoC has surfaced through a Goofish. The photos show a compact board with a large NVIDIA package at the center and eight memory packages placed around it.

In January, Jensen Huang publicly acknowledged that NVIDIA was working with MediaTek on a low-power, high-performance SoC for AI computers. A later report

The card was taken apart by TechPowerUp moderator Solaris17, giving us an early look at the reference board and cooler layout. The teardown stops short of removing the heatsink, so there is still no direct photo of the BMG-G31 package itself.

The post shows that Intel’s reference Arc Pro

MetaMech 16 2026 launches in China with Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 128 GB memory and OCuLink

We have not seen many Strix Halo laptops so far, and even fewer gaming-focused systems. That is surprising because Strix Halo is one of the most interesting APUs on the market. So far, AMD has focused its marketing on AI features rather than the integrated GPU performance that could appeal to gamers.

MetaMech has released its new 16-inch laptop in China with AMD’

Intel Arc Pro B70 “Battlematrix” quad-GPU setup consumes up to 720W of power

Intel Battlematrix review finds limited software support for four Arc Pro B70 cards

If you were wondering why Arc Pro B70 reviews have been so limited, we actually have no clue. However, HardwareLuxx review may give us an explanation. Intel’s BMG-G31 launch was unusually quiet and focused almost entirely on workstation and AI workloads, with no visible push around gaming coverage.

Review coverage has also been pretty much nonexistent, which suggests Intel has selected only a small number of outlets for exposure.

Microsoft is reportedly testing a new Gamepad Cursor feature in the Xbox app on Windows. The option was spotted in the Xbox Insider Program. This follows two earlier developments that we already covered. Primate Labs said Geekbench Browser would place a warning on results from BOT-capable CPUs because it had no direct way to tell whether BOT was active. A week later,
