A GitHub project called OpenNOW is building an open-source desktop client for GeForce NOW. The software is described as an independent community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NVIDIA. According to the project page, users still need their own GeForce NOW account, but OpenNOW aims to provide an alternative front end for accessing the service.
