I do not think we are supposed to tell you about new releases using such an old chipsets, but this is 2026 and nothing makes sense anymore. GIGABYTE has quietly added two new AM4 motherboards based on AMD’s B450 chipset. The B450M D3HP and B450M D3HP WIFI6E are new motherboard models rather than revisions of older GIGABYTE products.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D burns and swells on updated MSI X870 motherboard

A Ryzen 7 7800X3D owner has reported a failed processor with visible burn damage and swelling on the package. The system reportedly shut down while gaming after around three months of use, then entered a boot loop. The damaged CPU was paired with an MSI PRO X870-P WIFI motherboard, which also stopped working.

NVIDIA GeForce NOW Linux app is now officially available

NVIDIA has officially moved its native GeForce NOW application for Linux out of beta. The client continues to support Ubuntu 24.04 and newer versions, while NVIDIA has also added an official Flatpak repository for installation and future updates.

We covered the Linux client when NVIDIA released the beta in January. At the time, NVIDIA was focusing on Ubuntu 24.04 as its tested Linux platform, although the Flatpak package could also run on other distributions.

Gigabyte RTX 5090 owner adds custom mesh side panel to avoid bending 16-pin cable

A GeForce RTX 5090 owner went to unusual lengths to keep the card’s 16-pin power cable from bending against the case side panel. The user installed a mesh panel with an opening around the connector, giving the cable plenty of clearance. Months later, the connector still suffered heat damage.

Korean RTX 50 sales data shows price increases of up to 40.9% since January

Danawa has published new pricing data for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 series in South Korea. The comparison site says the RTX 5090 recorded the largest increase between January and August, with prices rising 40.9%. Most other Blackwell models also ended August above their January levels.
