Microsoft has reportedly increased Windows licensing costs for PC manufacturers, adding another expense for an industry already dealing with higher memory, storage and processor prices. Taiwanese Economic Daily News reports that OEM licensing fees have increased by an average of 7% to 10% since July.
According to a PC brand executive cited by the publication, Microsoft adjusts Windows OEM licensing prices every year, but previous increases were typically lower.

The RPCS3 team has expanded LittleBigPlanet compatibility to much older versions of the game. Betas, demos and retail builds through version 1.20 can now be played through the PlayStation 3 emulator.
Until now, users generally needed LittleBigPlanet v1.21 or newer. Earlier versions used an older version of the game engine and would become stuck on the first loading screen when launched through RPCS3.
