NVIDIA GeForce 616.00 adds native Windows 11 on Arm support for RTX Spark

NVIDIA has published its first native GeForce graphics driver for Windows 11 on Arm. GeForce 616.00 is labeled as a Developer Preview and currently targets Microsoft’s Surface RTX Spark Dev Box rather than consumer laptops. The driver was included in recent NVIDIA developer forum post. This is therefore not an OEM driver copied from an unreleased laptop.

Apple is reportedly preparing a new device leasing program that will include most Mac models. The Apple Upgrade service is expected to launch in the United States on July 28 , according to Bloomberg.

NVIDIA has published new architectural details for its Vera data center CPU and the custom Olympus core used by the processor. Vera combines 88 Olympus cores, 176 hardware threads and a 164MB unified L3 cache on a monolithic compute die.

NVIDIA increases prices across the entire Jetson lineup

NVIDIA has quietly increased prices across its Jetson hardware lineup. The changes affect all three current developer kits and every production module remaining on the company’s US pricing table.

A PC owner has shown an HP GeForce RTX graphics card with visible heat damage around the RGB section on its backplate. The material surrounding the rectangular illuminated area appears to have softened and deformed.
