Winhanced 0.9.9.2 adds HUD 2.0 and new Intel handheld controls

Winhanced 0.9.9.2 adds Intel Frame Generation Override up to 4x

The rebuilt Performance Engine now applies power settings faster and maintains steadier wattage instead of repeatedly adjusting the target. Power and temperature readings should also be more accurate. Fan settings are automatically reapplied when Winhanced detects that a device ignored them.

The changes cover devices including the MSI Claw, ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, ROG Flow Z13 and OneXFly. Docking, external GPU connections and restoring settings after sleep should also work more consistently

They did it: Modders unlock per-module GDDR7 temperatures on GeForce RTX 50 GPUs

NVIDIA RTX 50 GDDR7 temperatures unlocked

Just one day after we covered the discovery of per-module GDDR6 and GDDR6X temperature readings, developers already have an update. GDDR7 temperature data can now be accessed on GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards. This update is a follow up to work from Paulo Gomes’ team, MSI Afterburner and RTSS developer “Unwinder”, Overclock.net member asder00, HWiNFO creator Martin “Mumak” Malík and olealgoritme, who created the Linux code.

GeForce GTX 1060 turns 10, Steam’s top GPU for nearly five years

GeForce GTX 1060 launched in 2016 at $249

The GeForce GTX 10 Series is still remembered as one of NVIDIA’s strongest gaming lineups, both for performance and pricing. The GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti remain the models most associated with Pascal among hardware enthusiasts. However, it was the GeForce GTX 1060 that secured the architecture’s place in mainstream gaming PCs.

NVIDIA released the GeForce GTX 1060 on July

Der8auer converts $7,000 RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z from AIO to custom water cooling

Limited RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z gets custom water cooling while retaining its display

Our friend der8auer has modified one of the most expensive GeForce graphics cards available. The MSI GeForce RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z is limited to 1,300 units and has appeared for around $7,000 on the secondary market. That price would stop most owners from taking the cooler apart.

This card was a bit different case because German system integrator MIFCOM had already removed its factory 360

Brazilian GPU mod team uncovers per-module temperatures for NVIDIA GDDR6 and GDDR6X memory

Paulo Gomes team shows how to reach NVIDIA GPU memory temperatures per module

Following the disclosure of the hotspot temperature on NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs recently, Paulo Gomes Team has found yet another hidden feature. A way to read temperature data from individual memory modules on several generations of NVIDIA GPUs. The method provides more detail than the single memory temperature value currently shown by monitoring software.

The discovery currently works with mobile GPUs using GDDR6 memory. It also works with desktop GeForce RTX 30 and RTX 40 Series cards equipped
