Another handheld gaming console with AMD’s flagship low power APU.
The AOKZOE A1 Pro is the upcoming handheld console featuring 8-core and 16-thread Ryzen 7 7840U. This has now been confirmed by multiple Geekbench listings discovered by Twitter user “Olrak29”. This product is yet another console now mentioned to feature AMD Phoenix APU, and it almost feels like this list is growing by the day.

AMD and Samsung have announced they will extend the GPU licensing agreement.
The first agreement signed by both companies in 2019 has now ended. Nevertheless, Samsung and AMD believe that there is still room for RDNA graphics in the mobile space, which is why they announced the extension of said IP licensing agreement for an undisclosed period of time.

In a joint press release released this evening, AMD and Samsung have announced that the two companies are renewing their GPU architecture licensing agreement for Samsung’s Exynos SoCs. The latest multi-year deal between AMD and Samsung will see Samsung continuing to license AMD’s Radeon graphics architectures for use in the company’s Arm-based Exynos SoCs, with the two companies committing to work together over “multiple generations” of GPU IP.
The extension of the licensing agreement comes just shy of 4 years after Samsung and AMD
The company issues a Product Change Notification (PCN) which officially starts the discontinuance of the series.
Several mobile and desktop CPUs based on Tiger Lake silicon are to be discontinued by January 2024. The process has already started this week and will have a few stages before the CPUs officially reach ‘end of life’ status.
