Next week we are getting new Sony, Zeiss, Samyang, Sigma lenses!

We probably won’t see any new Sony cameras at the CP+ trade show. But next week, we’ll at least get to see a bunch of new E-mount lenses:

Sony

I still got no 100% confirmation but I think there is a fair chance that around Feb 25 Sony will announce some of these lenses:

  • 100-400mm f/4.0 GM
  • 100-400mm G (variable aperture)
  • 16-28mmf /2.0 GM

Sigma

On Feb 26 Sigma will announce:

  • 35mm f/1.4 II FE
  • 15mm f/1.4 APS-C E
  • MAYBE a new 85mm f/1.2
  • MAYBE a new zoom lens

Samyang:

At the CP+ show the Koreans will show us:

  • 60-180mm f/2.8 FE (final announcement with preorders opening)
  • 28-135mm f/2.8 FE (pre-production unit)
  • 20-50mm f/2.0 FE (prototype only)
  • Two different 300mm FE telephoto primes (prototypes only)
  • 28-85mm FE “very fast” telphoto zoom (prototype only)

Zeiss:

  • 35mm f/1.4 OTUS FE lens

The Chinese:

Maybe also VIltrox, 7artisans, TTartisan and other chinese manufacturers will display some new lens and prototypes.
