Late 2025 we published the rumor about these three new lenses coming form Sony in early 2026:
- 100-400mm f/4.0 GM
- 100-400mm G (variable aperture)
- 16-28mm f/2.0 GM
While I am 100% certain that Sony will introduce these three new lenses before mid-2026, I do not have any reliable confirmation that they will be unveiled at the CP+ trade show. In the past three years Sony always announced at least one lens:
2025 CP+ 16mm G and 400-800mm G
2024 CP+ 24-50mm F2.8 G
2023 CP+ 50mm GM
If these lenses will NOT be announced at the CP+ expect them to be announced in March-April-May time-frame!
