Finally we will get the first Full Frame zoom AF lens from a Chinese manufacturer. Today How2Fly reported this:

A Chinese lens manufacturer that has never released an AF lens will launch a full-frame autofocus zoom lens in Q2, 2026.

I am 99% sure this is going to be an E-mount lens as this is a rumor that we already got in the past months. Additionally various sources on Weibo are reporting about the “major” news coming from a Chinese lens manufacturer. Specifically they write “ it is rumored to be explosive ”

This is the list of Chinese lens manufacturer that have made manual focusing lenses only:

• DZOfilm (they already make popular manual focusing FF cine lenses)
• Mitakon
• NiSi
• Thypoch
• Dulens
• Kamlan

Last year, there were rumors about an upcoming f/1.4 zoom lens. That would fit the definition of “explosive” :)
