Dpreview had a chat with two Sony managers at the CP+ show. Key info:
- Sony expects market to growth further
- ZV series is particularly popular among youngsters
- ZV series does NOT replace the RX100 and the manager said “We understand the necessity and requests for the RX100 series
- If they would have tried to make a 50-200mm f/2.0 GM size and weight would increase significantly”
Sounds like we might get a RX100VII successor ?
