Today I did it: I created the highest resolution direct color positive photo ever made

Today I finally created my first ever direct positive color photo. Think something like a Polaroid but with stunning quality and 126x100cm size! I am totally exhausted, it took me one year to understand the science behind this and create reliable high quality and fidelity color images in any outdoor conditions.

Why I Am Doing This: Four “Odes” to Pure Photography

1. An Ode to Truth: In a world where almost every image you see has been modified to grab your attention or convey a premeditated idea, it has become impossible to know what is real. Our images are physically impossible to modify. They capture the authentic light of a specific moment, sculpting it directly onto a paper that cannot be reproduced by any current analog or digital technology. This is our way of showing reality and honest beauty.

2. An Ode to Quality (Infinite): Because there is no “mesh” of megapixels (digital) or grain (analog), the paper holds the maximum possible resolution, limited only by the physics of light (diffraction). This is the equivalent of roughly 10 Gigapixels. Our photos have a resolution of over 2500 PPI, whereas the world’s best printers top out at 600 PPI. While digital images can look flat, ours have a tangible, 3D quality. To truly appreciate the details, you need a 10x magnifying loupe.

3. An Ode to Unicity: Every image we take is unique. There is no negative, no digital copy, and no way to replicate it. It is like a one-of-a-kind painting. Whoever owns this physical photograph is the sole owner of the artistic work I created on that specific day.

4. An Ode to Aesthetics (30mm f/0.3): No lens exists commercially that can give you this ultra-thin depth of field (ours is just 4cm) on a wide-angle field of view. It gives us the unique ability to focus on one single element within a vast space, opening up entirely new ways to tell a story.

What’s next?

I can’t tell you more as people are shooting an exclusive documentary about this. Moreover I have a world known artists that gets the exclusive to use this tech for his work. Will let you know more as soon as I can!
