It’s now time to slowly focus what’s next from Sony.

Let’s start from the facts:
Sony has registered two more new cameras in China. Both will be announced within the next 2-3 months

Camera Rumors:
We can safely assume that the two cameras are…

• New RX or APS-C camera
• New FX model

I am working with sources to exactly tell you what is going to be announced when and I should have reliable info soon! If you are waiting for a new Full Frame Alpha camera you will likely get 1 between October and November. There are so many cameras in dire need of an update:

• Sony A7sIII
• Sony ZV-E1
• Sony A7cII and A7cR now would benefit from  an update containing the same sensor tech of the new Sony A7V and Sony A7rVI

Lens Rumors:
There is also a new 16-28mm f/2.0 GM lens likely to be announced soon too. Hopefully sometimes in June/July. About other lenses I am unsure yet, apparently some more telephoto lenses are in development but I haven’t got specs yet. Of course there will be again a ton of third party E-mount lenses coming from Japanese and Chinese manufacturers.

Wrap up:
Overall this is going to be an exciting year. The Sony A7rVI was just the beginning of many announcement to come!
