As noted by our reader Alan Marcus (Thanks!) the Sony teaser shows the upcoming new RX10V has a 9.1-210mm which is slightly different than the 8.8-220mm lens of the nine year old Sony RX10IV. Assuming both cameras use the same 1 inch sensor size this means:
- New RX1V has a 25-575mm Full Frame equivalent lens
- RX10IV had a 24-60mm Full Frame equivalent lens
This would mean Sony did some small changes and we loose a bit of reach and 1mm at the wide end.
Sony RX10V preorders will open on July 9 here at BHphoto , Amazon , Adorama , Fotokoch , FotoErhardt , Calumet , Clifton , WexUK
