All sources confirmed the Sony FX5 has built-in IBIS. A new source added a curios note I don’t know if it’s true: He said that on request the IBIS can be removed from the FX5 by Sony.

IBIS works by floating the sensor on electromagnets. Even when it’s locked, it’s not as mechanically rigid as a sensor that is bolted directly to the camera chassis. Having the IBIS removed means the sensor isn’t wobbling around, more ideal for gimbal use, more reliable, more accurate.
