Had some chat with store managers and the Sony FX5 preorder numbers seem to be very high. This ain’t a perfect camera but the overall impression is that it’s very well received. We’ve probably been waiting so long for an FX3 successor that this feels like a moment of relief :)
In detail I can tell:
- 70% did preorder the Sony FX5 body only
- 30% did preorder the Sony FX5 with XLR handle kit
- Only 15% of all FX5 buyers did preorder the EVF too
