1. Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM at BHphoto , Amazon , Adorama , Fotokoch , FotoErhardt , Calumet , Clifton , WexUK
   Excellent and very enjoyable to shoot with, offering spectacular sharpness in the middle of the frame. It receives extra credit for its bright maximum aperture (f/1.4), which is twice as bright as the next best lenses. The only minor drawback mentioned is a touch of purple fringing in the corners.
2. Nikon Z 24mm f/1.8 S
   Provides noticeable sharpness over the competition, especially in the middle of the images. It is also well-designed for a wider aperture lens, though the Sigma 24mm f/2 is marginally sharper in the corners.
3. Sigma 24mm f/2 DG DN
   Marginally sharper than the Nikon Z 24mm f/1.8 S in the image corners. It is a very well-built lens and offers great value for its price.
4. Canon RF 24mm f/1.4 L VCM
   A beautiful lens that’s brilliantly sharp in the middle of the images with excellent contrast. Its image corners are a bit softer than some other lenses and it suffers from horrifying barrel distortion in uncorrected images, which is a shame given its overall quality.
5. Samyang AF 24mm f/1.8
   A pleasant surprise, genuinely sharper than the older Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2. Its sharpness in the middle of the image is impressive, and it’s surprisingly sharp in the corners for its price. However, it shows an awful lot of purple fringing in the corners.
6. Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2
   A classic lens with good build quality, nice bokeh, and lower distortion. It’s sharper than the Meike 24mm f/1.4, especially in the middle of the pictures, and its corners are also good. It is an older design and not immune to some lateral and longitudinal color fringing.
7. Meike 24mm f/1.4 Mix
   A really pleasant surprise for its low price, offering reasonably sharp performance from the middle to the corners of the image. Its main drawback is obvious color fringing. Stopping it down to f/2 makes it very sharp.
