CONFIRMED: 300mm GM to be announced on November 8th. Sony A9III now or in early January?

A second source confirmed the Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM will be announced on November 8th.

I still got NO confirmation the A9III will be announced on that same event. All I am sure about is that if it’s not going to be announced next week that with 100% certainty it will be announced on the next Sony event that is scheduled for January. To recap:

Sony November 8th announcement:

  • New 300mm f/2.8 GM
  • Maybe new A1 firmware update
  • Maybe new A9III (if not, than it will be announced in January)
