Sorry for the confusion guys. But a trusted source told me the previously “leaked” image was fake. He was fooled too because indeed the new Sigma 50mm f/1.2 looks nearly exactly like the current Sigma 50mm f/1.4 . He shared an image of the real lens (see the small “crop” image above). It has the same 72mm filter size like the f/1.4.

Sigma 50mm f/1.2 lens specs:

• 100g lighter and more compact than the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM
• The size and chassis is about the same of that of the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 .
• 72mm filter size
• The lens aperture has 13 blades (50mm f1.2 GM got 11 only)
• More affordable than the Sony
• Comes for Sony E and Leica L
