I will always credit Angelbird for having been the first to launch affordable Type A cards (at least compared to what we had from Sony and Lexar ). And finally we are getting some new cards soon. A source reported:

“It is most likely that these will be announced at the end of May/beginning of June. Stock should be available to order at the time of announcement. I don’t have the exact specifications, but it is an “upgrade” over the previous card.”

My guess is that those cards will have VPG200 (or VPG400?) ratings. Don’t know if they will also support the 4.0 standard like the like the new OWC Type A cards are in Stock at Amazon US ! Those are the options:

• 480GB for $319
• 960GB for $519
