A source (thank you!) sent me this first leaked image of the new Sony 400-800mm f/6.3-8.0 G lens. The image proves that the rumors about Sony announcing two new lenses ahead of the CP+ show were correct:
From the picture, we can’t really tell how big this lens is. Hopefully sources can send me the full size image soon via t this contact box or via sonyalpharumors@gmail.com . Sources have told me that it’s relatively compact and lightweight, but I haven’t gotten any specifics yet.
There are also some UNCONFIRMED rumors that both lenses will be announced on February 26. That’s about it for now…hope also to get some Sony A7V launch date info soon!
