I just realised that not a single SAR reader has pre-ordered a single Zeiss link through my affiliate links. And in general, store managers told me that reorder numbers were extremely low. I suspect there are a number of reasons for this:
- These lenses are expensive lenses with manual focus.
- Meanwhile, there are many extremely good lenses that cost less or/and have autofocus (like the Sony 50mm GM or the Sigma 50mm lens ).
- Some said these are just Cosina lenses with a Zeiss logo on them. While I suspect Cosina makes these lenses, I’m pretty sure Zeiss is behind the design of these lenses.
I would ask you to comment on this post and let Zeiss know why you have not reordered the new OTUS FE lenses.
