I can now confirm that Sony will be announcing a new E-mount camera on 21 May. Like I told you before, it will not be a new Sony A7IV successor that is coming. There are rumors that this camera has a new tilting EVF design similar to the GX8 .
I had some hopes to get a new version of this eight year old(!) GM lens . But there is no sign for that yet.
Sony will ‘only’ announce this camera and probably no new lens will come. But there is a good chance that there will be another Sony announcement between the end of June and the beginning of July.
