New In-Camera Signature Solution Attaches Digital Certificate to Photos at the Point of Capture to Certify Legitimacy
Today, Sony Electronics announces the completion of a second round of testing for Sony’s in-camera authenticity technology with Associated Press. This in-camera digital signature allows for the creation of a birth certificate for images, validating the origin of the content.

Sony A1II flagship camera not coming any time soon…and likely NOT to have global shutter?
After the Sony A9III launch speculations started to go around the web that the A1II also might feature a global shutter sensor tech. I do believe that at this time this is unlikely to happen. Yes, on paper it’s possible the A1II could feature a 50MP global shutter with 60fps. This would theoretically match the speed of the 24Mp 120fps A9III camera. While retaining most of the functions and advantages of LA-FE1, LA-FE2 can drive traditional Nikkor AF lenses (commonly known as D Type lenses) released by Nikon since 1987.
