The new Sigma 100-400mm FE is now in Stock BHphoto , Adorama , FocusCamera . FotokochDE . WexUK . ParkUK .

Opticallimits tested the Sigma lens and concluded:

The Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary is a subtle improvement over the older DSLR version – both optically as well as mechanically. The image quality is primarily better at the wide end of the zoom range with a much higher sharpness in the outer image field. The

PhotonToPhotos tested the Nikon Z9 dynamic range. And I am surprised to see it perform it up to 1 stop behind the Sony A1 ! Of course we have to see if other testers will get similar results. But 1 stop means a world in this class.

PhotonToPhotos measured the Sony A7IV sensor performance. There isn’t really a difference with the A7III. But that might be ok considering the A7IV has a lot more resolution to deal with.
