A plan to auction more than 100 artifacts salvaged from the wreckage of the Titanic — including personal belongings, currency, kitchen items and decor — is facing pushback from the U.S. government, according to newly unsealed court documents.
RMS Titanic Inc., the company that owns exclusive salvage rights to the famous wreck in the North Atlantic , wants to sell the artifacts for the first time despite previous agreements to only display them at museums and traveling exhibitions.

Hamilton Police investigating suspicious incidents where female driver, male passenger allegedly approached girls
The Hamilton Police Service is alerting the public about two suspicious incidents where a female driver and male passenger allegedly approached female youths as they walked in the area around Upper James Street and Airport Road East.
A police statement said the first incident occurred on Thursday at around 9:45 a.m.
Investigators said a black SUV stopped a girl as she walked near Spitfire Drive and Marion Street.
They said a female was driving the vehicle with a male, front-seat passenger.

A 70-year-old man has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving charges after an SUV he was driving crashed into a daycare north of Toronto last year , killing a toddler and injuring other children and staff members.
Vinay Kumar Gupta pleaded guilty in a Newmarket, Ont. court this morning to one count of dangerous operation causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

NEW YORK (AP) — Clive Davis , the record company lawyer who became one of the music industry’s most powerful figures, launching or resurrecting the careers of such superstars as Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana and Alicia Keys, has died, his family confirmed. He was 94.
Earlier this year, Davis was hospitalized following an upper respiratory issue and was released a few days later. His death, in his Manhattan apartment, was confirmed by his publicist Aliza Rabinoff, who also shared a statement
