Collision between vehicle and Line 6 LRT disrupts service
Toronto police are investigating a collision between a vehicle and an LRT on Line 6 Finch West on Thursday afternoon.
Police say they received the call shortly before 4 p.m. for a collision in the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Jayzel Drive.
No injuries have been reported.
There is no service between Milvan Rumike and Signet Arrow stations due to the collision.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — was charged in California on Thursday with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, authorities said.
The 44-year-old pop star was charged with a single misdemeanor count of driving under the combined influence of alcohol and at least one drug, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said.
A Spears representative had no immediate comment.
The criminal complaint does not specify what kind of alcohol or drugs, or what amount, Spears is accused of having used.

Toronto man charged with murder in 2023 fatal shooting
A Toronto man has been charged in connection to a 2023 homicide, the second suspect to be arrested in the fatal shooting.
According to investigators, Mohamed Ahmed, 36, was gunned down while inside a vehicle at an apartment parking lot near Sherbourne and Shuter streets on July 25, 2023.
He was located with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two suspects were identified in connection to the shooting and were placed on the Canada’s Most Wanted list.
Mississauga mosque allegedly vandalized overnight
A mosque in the area of Erin Mills and the QEW in Mississauga was allegedly vandalized overnight on Thursday.
The mosque is located inside the Southdown Village condo complex at 2121 Roche Court. Peel police say the space is a common area party room that is being used as a prayer space on a temporary basis.

Man charged after alleged hate-motivated assault in College and Spadina area
Toronto police have arrested a 47-year-old man suspected of an allegedly hate-motivated assault in the College Street and Spadina Avenue area.
Police were called to the incident just after 5:15 p.m. on April 26.
The suspect allegedly punched the victim in the face during an unprovoked interaction.
“The accused made anti-Black statements during the assault, a physical altercation ensued and the accused fled southbound on Spadina Avenue,” police said in a release regarding the incident.
