Predator monitor brings SpatialLabs 3D to gaming

Acer has released the Predator XB273K 3D gaming monitor in China.

The Predator XB273K 3D was first announced at Computex in May. Acer plans to release it in North America during the fourth quarter for $1,299.99. The European launch is also scheduled for the fourth quarter with a €1,499 starting price.

CS2 streamer allegedly destroys GPU with 100,000-grenade explosion

Streamer claims CS2 blast destroyed his GPU

Russian streamer StRoGo attempted to detonate more than 100,000 grenades at once on a custom Counter-Strike 2 server. The broadcast lost video during the explosion and ended shortly afterward.

According to Russian and Chinese media the experiment burned out the entire PC. The suffered irreparable damage, it is caimed. The available footage does not show fire, smoke or the computer itself being inspected after the stream.

PS5 emulator reaches GTA V menus, first 3D games now loading on PCs

KytyPS5 emulator now renders commercial 3D PS5 games

Only two days after our report on the growing PS5 emulation race, one of the projects has shown further progress. KytyPS5 can now boot the PlayStation 5 version of GTA V and reach its menus and settings. Quake II has also been shown reaching gameplay, although neither result indicates that the games are playable from start to finish.

Lenovo returns to cloud gaming handhelds with Legion C700

Lenovo has teased the Legion C700, a new handheld designed around Tencent’s START cloud gaming service. The company showed the device in white and confirmed that more information will follow in August.
