Repair technicians access hidden RTX 50 hotspot data with NVIDIA MODS

RTX 5070 Ti reaches the 107°C thermal limit while Windows reports 68°C.

NVIDIA removed access to the GPU hotspot temperature with the GeForce RTX 50 series, but the underlying sensor remains active. LG Display has published results from a company-run study examining how monitor refresh rates affect gaming performance. The test involved 31 adult male gamers who played an FPS game at 60Hz, 240Hz, 360Hz and 480Hz.

Participants experienced the four settings in a random order as part of a blind test.
