Early Intel 10th Gen Comet Lake Pricing Shines Light on Likely AMD Rivals

Intel's 10th Generation Comet Lake desktop processors aren't expected until the spring. However, a tip from hardware detective @momomo_us helped us track down early Comet Lake listings from two European retailers.

Czech retailer Bohemia Computers and Slovakian retailer ITSK-HS have already listed the Comet Lake parts on their respective websites. The postings could be temporary placeholders, but if not, they give us a general idea of Comet Lake's final pricing.

Intel 10th Gen Comet Lake Leak: Specs for F-Series Desktop CPUs Posted

Uruguayan media outlet Informática Cero has published alleged specifications for Intel's looming 10th Generation Comet Lake F-series desktop processors . The PowerPoint slide appears to be part of a Comet Lake presentation that leaked back in December.

Foxconn Anticipating Revenue Hit From Coronavirus-Related Delays

The coronavirus outbreak's had a bigger effect on Foxconn than expected. Reuters today reported that the company warned investors that its first quarter revenues will be lower than originally anticipated because of the virus' continued impact.

China ordered Foxconn to close its factories in January because of the coronavirus outbreak. Foxconn originally planned to resume work on February 10, but it still hasn't been able to resume normal production because of the outbreak.

Sony Won't Attend PAX East This Year Because of the Coronavirus Outbreak

Sony announced yesterday that it won't participate in PAX East, the annual gaming conference hosted in Boston, this year because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The company originally planned to let PAX East attendees play upcoming titles such as The Last of Us Part II, Final Fantasy VII Remake and more during the four-day event.

Sony originally said it would participate in PAX East on February 13. Less than a week later it updated its announcement blog post with the following statement:

Kioxia Launches First PCIe 4.0 Enterprise SSDs: Up to 30TB, 1.4 Million IOPS, 6.9 GBps

After almost 5 months on the market, the HTC Vive Cosmos is getting ready for some siblings. With the current version offering six tracking cameras for 6-degrees of freedom (6-DoF) tracking with PC-connected VR, the upcoming Cosmos Play will reduce the number of tracking cameras to four and cost less.The VR headset maker is also introducing the Cosmos Elite, which adds two SteamVR base stations to the package for a more premium experience.
