GPU performance numbers of Qualcomm's highly-anticipated Snapdragon X Elite processor in the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark have been published in the benchmark's database (via @BenchLeaks ). While the results do not look bad for a pre-production mobile processor, they don't exactly generate excitement.

Micron has demonstrated the Crucial T700 8TB at CES 2024, a concept product that will blow the best SSDs out of the water. The Crucial T700 8TB combines four individual T700 2TB SSDs in a RAID array on a standard AIC card cooled by Frore Systems' AirJet Mini cooling technology.

Micron is demonstrating its next-generation LPCAMM2 memory modules based on LPDDR5X memory at CES 2024, where our own Paul Alcorn grabbed pictures. As expected, a new low-power compression attached memory module (LPCAMM2) is significantly smaller than traditional SODIMMs used for laptops, yet provides higher performance at lower power.

A benchmark for Intel's highest-end member of its regular Core Mobile Series 1 lineup has leaked, and the results aren't particularly excellent (via BenchLeaks ). The Core 7 150U is Intel's latest 15-watt chip for laptops. Although we can't expect too much of its integrated graphics, its performance in Geekbench 6 is still pretty disappointing for what is supposed to be a current-generation product.
