Confirmed: Sony FX5 will be announced in July 22 !!!
Mark the date folks! The Sony FX5 is rumored to be announced on July 22 at 3pm London time. I will have a live blogging and live video stream so that you can follow the exciting announcement live!
I also spoke with some early testers, and they all say that while this camera is a bit… expensive, it is also a far superior cine camera compared to the FX3. It offers superb internal 4K recording capabilities in a body that is only barely bigger than the FX3

New Sony RX10V info: 4k120p, double Bionz processor and AI chip
The Sony RX10V will be announced this week on July 9. And I have some additional info I got from a source:
The rumors about it having the same lens and sensor are correct. It has all the new AF features (eye tracking and subject detection for people, animals, birds, cars, planes) you would expect from a new Sony release combined with a new double BIONZ ZR Sensor and an AI Chip. The videospecs are updated as well with 4K120fps and FullHD

Sony RX10V has a slightly different focal length

As noted by our reader Alan Marcus (Thanks!) the Sony teaser shows the upcoming new RX10V has a 9.1-210mm which is slightly different than the 8.8-220mm lens of the nine year old Sony RX10IV. Assuming both cameras use the same 1 inch sensor size this means:
- New RX1V has a 25-575mm Full Frame equivalent lens
- RX10IV had a 24-60mm
Sony FX5 uses new 3.5 inch large LCD screen

I have been told the Sony FX5 uses a new 3.5 inch large fully articulating screen. This sits right in between the 3 inch Sony FX3 LCD and the 4 inch Nikon ZR LCD. Another source wrote this:
The touchscreen is a 16:9 similar to the one in the Burano . Fun fact: when you use the camera in 16:9 mode you have more screen estate, around 1cm in each direction compared to fx3 . But in open gate you have less,
